Dr. Nguyen Closed Now

Dr. Nguyen, your dentist in Atlanta, GA, attended Emory University in Atlanta and earned his Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Biology and Music. He went on to dental school at the Medical College of Georgia, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2001. Dr. Nguyen also completed one year of postdoctoral education at the University of Florida in 2002, where he received a Certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry.

He continues to study extensively to keep current on new dental technology, techniques, and research. He is Invisalign certified and has comprehensive training with the CEREC system that fabricates porcelain crowns while you wait. His continuing education includes training with some of the world’s preeminent dentists including Dr. Pete Dawson and Dr. Frank Spear.  He is a member in good standing with the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Nguyen is the son of a helicopter pilot who was employed all over the world. Born in Vietnam, he was raised in Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Saudi Arabia, Rhode Island, and Florida before finally settling here in Atlanta, Georgia. Having such a culturally diverse upbringing allows him to bring a special perspective to his patients’ care.

His hobbies include Crossfit, outdoor activities, scuba diving and reading.
